How to WOrk with Us

There are 3 main ways we work with athletes: Groups, private team training or personal training.  

1. GROUP TRAINING- We offer 12 week courses throughout the year. These are seasonally based on several of the sports that we serve.  Athletes will commit to training with us at least once a week on a certain day and time.  

Our seasons are structured as follows. We try to have at least 2 options per week for each age group. 

  • Winter- December 1st-February 28th *taking week off for Christmas holiday

  • Spring- March 1st- 3rd week of May

  • Summer- June 1st- 3rd week of August

  • Fall- September 1st- Thanksgiving

Starting December 1st we have the following options:

9-13 year olds

  1. Monday- 4:30p

  2. Tuesday- 4:30p

  3. Wednesday- 6:00p

  4. Thursday- 4:30p 

14-18 year olds

  1. Monday- 6:30p

  2. Wednesday- 7pm

Even if you have missed the start of the season your athlete is still able to join us.  If the class has openings we can offer monthly membership, quarterly payment, or a prorated amount for the rest of the season. 

If you don't see a time that works with your athlete we are happy to start another class. We require an 8 person minimum to start a group class so if they can find friends or teammates then we can start a time that works with their practice schedule.  

2. TEAM TRAINING- We work with several High school or club teams from a variety of sports. These sessions are only for the athletes in that team and we work closely with the coach to tailor the session to the needs of your team.  We require an 8 person minimum and can effectively serve up to 20 in a group. Please reach out if you want your team to work with us.   

3. PERSONAL TRAINING- If you have a specific goal in mind, are rehabilitating from an injury or just want personalized attention personal training is an excellent option.  This allows you to maximize your training experience with individualized programming and coaching tailed to your specific goals and needs. Personal training prices range from $100-$125 per hour depending on the coach.

One of the most common requests we receive is Running form analysis.  Coach Andrew Simmons, our running form expert, is a master at helping athletes understand proper run mechanics and get youth and adults to maximize their speed out on a track, field, court, or road race or trail course. 

Small group training is another option for those looking for individualized coaching and programming but enjoys having training partners to help motivate and encourage each other along the way.  Small groups of 2-5 still provide the opportunity for individualized attention at a more cost- effective price point.  Please reach out to us to discuss options for small groups.

All athletes new to Golden Sports Performance are welcome to try out a free class. Please reach out to us to schedule your free trial.

Team Training - Please contact us at coaches@goldensportsperformance.com about our team training options. Custom proposals  are created based on the number of days per week and size of the group.
